The Between the Lines Charity tote bag by FrontRowMag.com and Jessica Jensen
In April of 2011 my family was hit hard when my father was diagnosed with AML, a form of leukemia. He was whisked away to the hospital to endure weeks of chemo, a round of radiation and ultimately a stem cell transfer last fall. Thankfully he is on the road to recovery and is gaining his strength back each day, as we near the one year anniversary of the transfer.
As anyone who has gone through a bought of cancer so close to home would know, having the support of your friends is what gets you through. This year Rachelle and I wanted to create something tangible in our effort to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada. And we couldn’t have been happier when, in May of this year, luxury handbag designer Jessica Jensen agreed to help us create the Between the Lines charity tote bag. Going on sale on ShopJessicaJensen.com today, September 27th, the canvas and leather tote is the perfect marriage between the FRM and Jessica Jensen signature styles.
“I loved working with Jessica. She’s classic in her tastes and has a brilliant creative and business mind,” Rachelle told me. “For me, the heart signifies love, unconditionally. With this specific design, we wanted to represent the many different lines and ways a disease like this affects everyone who’s involved.”
After shooting a flawless campaign with Cory Vanderploeg from Hermann & Audrey studios in Toronto, I knew I was blessed with some pretty great friends. I hope you like the final results of this fun collaboration (including our video and campaign shot with Toronto-based model, Kelleth), and I can’t wait to see the tote bag being worn by all the fashionable FRM fans and readers.
