OPEN SEASON
Shared and the Drake General Store open new location in King West neighbourhood
Once a tiny t-shirt shop owned by Shared clothing’s Joyce Lo and Carlo Colacci, who make all their comfy tees right here in Toronto, the duo have now collaborated with the über successful team at The Drake to expand their 600 sq foot space and open the third installment of The Drake General Store. Located south of King Street West on Bathurst, positioned directly across from the new Thompson Hotel, this incarnation of the DGS puts more of a focus on clothing and home décor in the newly renovated space. Think: Shared, natch, a selection of stylish Levi’s, Cheap Monday, vintage-inspired Fortnight Lingerie, books, like The Selby, and magazine’s such as Gentlewoman, all alongside home décor pieces sourced from antique shops, as well as Malin + Goetz bath products, which can all be found in the Drake Hotel, as well.
The Drake General Store on Bathurst officially opens Saturday, June 5th, 2010. 82A Bathurst Street.
