Travis Taddeo Spring 2014, a collection of luxe loungewear for both sexes
Montreal schooled Travis Taddeo (he went to LaSalle College) present relaxed sportif chic offerings for Spring 2014. Models walked the runway in various states of undress, with sweaters tied around the waist, coming off one shoulder and t-shirts draped nonchalantly over one shoulder. Taddeo continued working with his go-to fabrics, this time mixing leathers, jersey, cotton in a palette of white, black, grey and ice blue. Taddeo played with a short fit and flare skirt, sheer panels, quilted varsity-inspired sweatshirts and basketball-style shorts in leather, and new this season, the freshly announced CAFA nominee, worked with Aldo to create a flat, thick soled leather sandal in all the same shades to complement each of his looks, for both the boys and the girls. Invoking a feeling of Sunday morning’s in bed, the designer even took his bow wearing grey leather jeans and a simple, but well-finished sweatshirt, showing off just how chic his line can be in real time.
