We find unexpectedly fashionable prints at home decor spot West Elm
During a recent afternoon of browsing home decor stores in our neighbourhood, we came across a plethora of interesting patterns at West Elm. Which, in and of itself is not super interesting, but once we did some digging, we were not surprised to find out why we fell so hard for this floral makeup case ($15.50), a collaboration between the brand and textile designer Sarah Campbell. The award-winning Campbell is known for creating prints for Liberty of London, Yves Saint Laurent, Cacharel and more over her illustrious 50 year career, that included a long, working relationship with her now deceased sister Susan Collier. Her hand-painted prints, which show a definitive love of colour, can be seen on everything from pillows to napkins to placemats to cosmetics cases and even our brand new shower curtain. Now that’s how you keep things interesting, non?
